Beachbody Trainers (Part I)
So being out in LA for the weekend truly was the best experience for me and I assume anyone else that was out there. One of the greatest things for me was knowing that there are several others trying to accomplish one thing. That one thing is promoting a healthy lifestyle to everyone they know. Whether you jump on the beachbody band wagon or not just stay fit and eat healthy meals. I had several awesome experiences at the Coach Summit and this experience will be based on my workouts with the trainers and getting to know them on a personal level. We had arrived in the hills and after checking in and grabbing some lunch our much anticipated workout was approaching. It was crazy! People were all crashing the doors wating to get into the big ballroom where this workout was going to take place. It was a little over an hour workout and included all the trainers that had previously made a workout dvd for beachbody. Each segment was about 15 minutes long so I got a taste of everyones personal workout. So as crammed as the place was we were all there for one reason, get our butts kicked by them. Before reading on please be aware that the video for some reason lags and I think it has to do with the fact that I recorded in HD. Just FYI!
The first trainer was Debbie Seibers from Slim In 6. She promotes getting in shape in just six weeks with her program. Debbie was one of the original beachbody trainers so she came out to get us all stretched and warmed up for the more hardcore programs. I was more towards the back of the room but still managed to get some footage of her on stage and the excitement in the room. I had an opportunity to have dinner and cocktails with her at some of the nightly diamond coach functions and she is so down to earth. Her poor boyfriend Tom was just taking picture after picture of her and someone that wanted to meet her. We chatted about it and he handled it very well.
Brett Hoebel was the next up and man do I love this guy! He just walked in and started to pump up the crowd right away. The best part was that I knew all his moves from his DVD program called RevABs. Alot of people were confused on his moves but I follwed them with ease. Brett Hoebel focuses on core strength and Reving your Abs. His method has helped me with other workouts and programs. I had a chance to hang out with him for a few minutes and they are still testing the RevAbs program and waiting to see results from people that have tried it. I lost about 5-8 pounds doing it and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to still workout but only has less then 40 minutes extra per day.
After Brett was done the place went crazy because we all knew that Chalean Johnson was coming next. She is the creator of Chalean Extreme, Turbo Jam and the upcoming Turbo Fire program that she allowed us to sample that day. She is just as popular as Tony Horton and has been with the beachbody company since day one. The video below was a little taste of Chalean’s new program Turbo Fire so let me know what you think. The music was awesome and very motivating to workout to.
After Chalean came on I was already sweating like crazy but we still had the hardest workouts coming up. I didn’t want to make this too long so I have a part II to my trainers experience that involved the creators of Brazil Butt Lift, Insanity and P90X.
